Tenaya Lake in early spring. This is above the Yosemite Valley, and can be reached by road from the Yosemite Valley via Old Oak Flat. Thuis is the Tioga pass road over the Sierra Nevada to Death Valley and Nevada. Tenaya comes before the entrance to the Tuolumne Meadows with all the Alpine flowers. Just below Tenaya is the road off to White Wolf, with a sperb but small restaurant.
