This is a Ron-only section. I got up early and left the Hilton at 7:30am in plenty of time for a 10:30 flight on Aerimexico to Oaxaca from terminal 2. There was about a 10 minute wait for the air train to terminal 2, and check-in was straightforward, depart from gate 66 at section M. With plenty of time, I had a quick Mexican breakfast before going through security at section M.

the next objective was to find the new HSBC lounge for Premier customers. This was on the second floor and almost empty. While checking flight status at one of the PC terminals, an attendant came and told me they were boarding now and I must hurry. So I did, and got to gate 66 to find the incoming plane had not arrived and was delayed about an hour. So, back to the HSBC lounge where the attendant made me a very good, large capuccino to pass the time.

Finally I got back to the gate in time for boarding and checked my carry-on as it is usually a small plane. However, the plane was much larger than usual for this flight, and I gathered my flight had never taken off and they had combined two flights on a bigger plane. There was no problem at Oaxaca with the luggage, that had got there on my flight.

The ride on the collectivo was the longest ever, taking over an hour, he seemed to go all round the city dropping people off before going up to San Felipe with me. I finally got home after 2:00pm.
