This was to be our last day at Fish Camp. At breakfast we decided to cancel our plans to see the Napa Valley on Sunday and just have a quiet day by the bay at Burlingame. After breakfast our neighbour called to say that Barbara had called him to say that if we wanted we could stay an extra two days at the Owl's Nest if we wanted, at no charge. But we decided we were committed to leave tomorrow (Saturday 23rd.) We went to the Narrow Guage Inn to pick up the presents Luz had ordered, and then went back to the Tenaya Lodge to explore.

In the parking lot at Tenaya I had to cancel the car reservation for Sunday, and this proved difficult, since it had been booked on the Internet, and it could not possibly be cancelled except on the Internet. As this involved the refund of a pre-paid reservation, a supervisor had to be called who soon sorted it out. Then we went to look around the Tenaya Lodge and find some lunch. We got a table outside and ordered lunch: Buffalo Wings for Luz and Crab Cakes for Ron. After a leisurely lunch we walked around and looked at the swimming pool and then at some paintings that were on sale in grounds. They were attractive but very expensive, so we did not buy. Luz was particularly impressed by the hotel.

Finally it was back to the Owl's Nest and we then had a short walk up to the general store in Fish Camp where we had yet more ice-creams. Ron took photos of the lake (the fish pond) and then it was back home to clean up and get the packing done.

Then off to bed for our last night here.
